How to Get To and From Smith Island

Smith Island is accessible only by boat. Schedules to and from Smith Island from Crisfield and the Western
Shore vary with season and weather. The cruise boats typically provide round-trip service from late
spring through early fall. Three passenger ferries operate year-round and typically make at least one daily
round-trip from Smith Island to Crisfield. We recommend calling in advance about schedules.
